Harlandii boxwood makes compact, fine‑textured bonsai with small leaves and dense growth with yellow spring flowers. It responds well to pruning and wiring, prefers full sun to light shade, consistent moisture, good drainage, and regular trimming to maintain form. The material is well established, has good branching to work with and should produce some great trees.
